Body kits are notorious for not having enough material to bolt them on properly, usually resulting in a loose fitting even floppy kit. They don't come with factory mounting brackets to tighten everything up, they are designed to look good, not fit good like OEM.
To properly install a body kit we recommend these brackets. They are adjustable and can be cut for shorter spans. If you value your time, the time it takes to cut and shape your own brackets, you will value the fact you can just buy em out right, bolt or screw them on and your done.
Locate a rigid mounting point (frame rail or similar), use self tappers to mount to the rigid point and then use bolts (self tappers wont stay) to fasten them to the kit. Try to maintain a good angle for rigidity. We also recommend washers with the rubber inserts, they will reduce vibration and make for a cleaner, more durable install.
You can cut them for shorter spans if needed. Just loosen the adjusting screw, separate the parts, make your cuts and reassemble. This will allow a more versatile use.
Kit come with 6 brackets, 4 for the front and 2 for the rear. But you can place them wherever you need them. Installed preperly, they can be removed and reinstalled as needed.
